Arched tent on the water – for the project “In the Flow 2026”
For the project “Flow 2026” we implemented an unusual solution – we installed an 8 × 4 m arched tent AT32TW on a pontoon located on the shore of the lagoon and created an unusually designed stage for the concert. The transparent covering and expressive arched shape allowed us to create a covered space for performances, while maintaining an open view of the Kaunas Lagoon and a close connection with the surrounding nature.
Installation on a pontoon required a site-specific work organization and structure fastening. We secured the tent to the pontoon with straps, and during installation, we used protective mats under the structure supports to protect the pontoon surface from damage.
This project revealed how a tent structure can be adapted to an unconventional event venue: a transparent arched tent with a pontoon base became a different stage for the concert, without obscuring its main highlight – the panorama of Kaunas Lagoon.
